1. Ordering

Ordering is possible 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you have any questions regarding how to use the web shop or need any kind of assistance, please email us at info@carseat.se. 

You may select to pay with credit card (Visa/Mastercard), Paypal or bank transfer.

Your order will be handled in the following way:

1. Order is placed by you in the online store.  Pay with Visa/Mastercard or bank transfer.  By ordering a seat you enter into a legal and binding agreement of purchase regardless of method of payment.
2. A receipt is emailed after completed payment
3. Car seat is packed and shipped out.  If your seat or selected color is out of stock you will be contacted shortly via  email. 95% of all seats are shipped within 12-24 hours.
4. A tracking number will be emailed so you can follow your car seat in transit
5. Arrival of seat, usually within a few days.
 

2. Prices

All prices are listed in Euros (€) and/or Dollars ($), include all taxes but do not include delivery. You may change currency by selecting desired currency in the left margin.

3. Shipping

CarSeat.se specializes in shipping  Swedish rear facing car seats internationally. All our seats are shipped with Posten using their Premium Shipping service. We've found they provide faster and more professional service than DHL and other providers. Most importantly, Posten take good care of the large car seat boxes.

Car seats are shipped out daily Monday through Friday (mail services closed during Saturday and Sunday in Sweden)

Shipping to European Countries:

Shipping to European countries is a flat fee of €30 Euros per seat regardless of country withg a few exceptions. Shipping time is normally between 2-4 business days. Slightly longer to Greece, Ireland, etc.

Shipping to other countries:

Shipping to most other other countries worldwide is a flat fee of €75 Euro or €95 per seat.  We don't ship seats to countries such as Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, Israel, Serbia, Morocco, Turkey, Qatar, Yemen, Sudan, Eritrea, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia.

After a tracking email has been provided the customer is responsible for keeping track of the package in a timely manner.  Three delivery attempts will normally be performed and the package will then be returned.  Packages which are returned unclaimed will be charged a delivery fee.

4. Availability

In case we don't have your car seat in stock you will be contacted via email in 24 hours with an estimate of delivery. Deliveries are constantly being made by manufacturers but sometimes colors/models might be temporarily out of stock at the manufacturer as well due to high demand.

5. Warranty

The regular warranty of 1 year apply

6. Returns

Customer is allowed to return car seats within 14 days if seat is new, in original packing and not used. Customer is responsible for return shipping.

7. Customs and Customs charges

Customs charges may or may not apply to your order. CarSeat,.se is not responsible for custom charges which you may incur. CarSeat. se is also not responsible if your package for some reason would get seized/confiscated by customs for any reason. Please check on applicable regulations before ordering.

Many ask if it's legal to import a Swedish car seat to US and Canada - The answer is yes, importing a Swedish car seat to US and Canada is legal but using them is technically illegal.

8. Privacy policy

We like personal integrity and treat your confidential information with respect. Email addresses, phone numbers, addresses etc. are not shared with anyone. We do occasionally send out email with special offers or information about new products but only if you've chosen this option in our online store or on the web site. In case you no longer wish to receive these emails, simply return one with the word "unsubscribe" in the text and we'll remove you from our list. Email will never be sent out without your consent.

When you shop in our online store, no confidential information is shared with us. Card numbers, expiration date, and CVV2 code is handled directly by our payment provider DIBS with high security. All information is heavily encrypted and stored in a safe way on secure servers.

9. Secure payments

All credit card payments are handled by DIBS, one of Europe's largest payment providers. When you place an order with CarSeat.se all information is heavily encrypted for security purposes. Your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV2code is handle directly by DIBS. No one at CarSeat.se has access to this information.

You may or may not see the "HTTPS" or "padlock" sign on your computer when checking out and paying with your credit card.  All transactions are heavily and securely encrypted but CarSeat.se has embedded the online store within our own website which means your transaction may not appear secure despite being encrypted with 128 bit security.

Your credit card statement will show you made a purchase from "CARSEAT" or "CARSEAT.SE"

10. Legal

By placing an order you enter into a binding legal agreement of purchase. Customers are responsible for finding out any applicable laws governing car seat usage. Customers are also responsible for following installation instructions in the manual. CarSeat.se is not responsible for any damages which may occur. We retain the rights to correct misprints, bugs in the system or other issues which may lead to incorrect pricing.
